Victor Germack
Founder and President
B.A., Fordham University; M.B.A., Harvard Business School

Mr. Germack’s background is in investment banking and senior operating management. He was a founding partner of Heritage Capital, a middle market investment bank focused on technology oriented public and private clients. Prior to founding Heritage Capital in 1977, he had a lengthy professional career in operating management. Mr. Germack was Director of Marketing and Sales for the Hertz Corp. Previously, he was president of a subsidiary of The Allen Group, Inc., a $350 million sales manufacturer of automotive OEM and after-market products. He further held supervisory responsibilities for a major portion of Allen’s North American operations and responsibility for strategic planning. Mr. Germack’s business career began with PriceWaterhouse.


Harald Paumgarten
Co-Founder and Executive Vice President
B.A., University of Pennsylvania; M.B.A., Haas School of Business,University of California (Berkeley)

Mr. Paumgarten has an extensive background in investment banking and corporate finance. He has had a lengthy investment banking career with several leading Wall Street firms including Morgan Stanley & Co., Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) and Deutsche Bank. At Deutsche Bank, Mr. Paumgarten directed investment banking activities and merchant banking. Mr. Paumgarten was also a supervisory analyst while at Deutsche Bank. In addition to serving on several industrial boards of directors, he was the Chairman of the HSBC Mutual Fund Trusts a $1.2 billion fund family managed by the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank, before it was sold to The Bank of New York. Mr. Paumgarten has worked with a variety of public companies with a particular focus on cross-border M&A assignments. Mr. Paumgarten has been an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School.
